Game Engine
Planet Crafter is being developed in the Unity engine.
Developer
The game is being developed by Miju Games, a small team.
Survival Elements
You will need food, water, and O2. They have updated some biomes, so it is possible other requirements could show up at some point.
Base Building
This is a base building game, not only do you build a base but you make the world “livable”.
Crafting
You will need to craft everything, tools, machines, building pieces.
Looting
You will be looting containers, salvage areas, and some chests. But most materials will come from gathering.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
There is no combat at this time.
Characters and Leveling
There are no characters, and no leveling. The closest thing is building plans unlock under special “attain” this requirements, which could be considered leveling.
Creature Taming and Mounts
There are no creatures and no mounts at this time.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
The weather does impact gameplay, But I am not sure to what extent.
Game Modes
The game has many modes, Relaxing, Normal, Creative, Standard, and Hardcore, you can also setup a custom game and change anything important.
Map
The map is hand crafted.
Over Gameplay Difficulty
The game is not difficult to play, it is a lot like Subnautica without the water.
