Food, must be maintained or you will loose health
Water, Of course you are in the desert so water will be your main element.
Water again? Too much water is bad as well, it is possible to drown.
Heat again, yep the heat is a major gameplay element.
Cold, cold can kill as well, desert nights are very cold.
Ignore any of the above items and you WILL die.
Base Building
Starsand does have base building, Which makes this harsh environment almost tolerable.
Crafting
Of course, what is a survival game without oodles of items to craft and make your life slightly less miserable.
Looting
Starsand has a combination of looting and gathering of materials.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
You will have combat against animals and Alien type creatures.
Characters and Leveling
Starsand does not let you select a character, and there are no levels or skill trees.
Creature Taming and Mounts
Yes! You can tame your very own camel to ride around on.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
The weather plays a “good” role, you could die if caught out in it.
