I Love survival games, I really enjoy games like Raft. If you enjoy games similar to Raft, then check out the following page. I list all the gameplay elements of Raft and at the bottom of the page is a list of survival games with similar gameplay elements.
Raft was released on 06/20/2022, it has had minimal updates after release, but is a well done game.
Raft has some survival elements, but it is not a realistic survival type game like Green Hell or The Forest.
Food and water are your major gameplay elements on Raft, You will need to work to keep these up especially in the beginning. Ignore them and its lights out.
the game has no heat/cold/injuries mechanics to keep up with.
Raft has a very cool base building mechanic, Your.. umm Raft. There are multiple types of materials to choose from, and a myriad of decoration options.
Raft like most survival style games, has many items to craft, many of these make your life easier as the game progresses.
Raft does have some container style looting, but the vast majority of your looting will come while floating on your raft, there is also some gathering to take place.
The enemies of the raft include one very persistent shark, and several other land based animal type creatures, no zombies here.
Raft lets you create both Male and Female Characters and has no skills or leveling mechanics
Raft does have creature taming, but other than your raft there are no mounts.
The weather does not have a major effect on gameplay.
Creative, Peaceful, Easy, Normal, Hard
The Map is procedural generated
Overall raft is not a difficult game to play, you will probably struggle at times to keep up your food and drink in the beginning, and there are other things that can be challenging along the way but at least you didn’t crash land in Green Hell.
Raft is an exciting and addictive survival game that puts you in the shoes of a survivor stranded in the middle of the ocean with nothing but a small raft to start with. The game challenges you to gather resources, build your own raft, and survive the dangers of the open sea.
The graphics of the game are stunning, with beautifully rendered oceans, islands, and underwater environments. The sound effects are also well-done, with a soundtrack that perfectly complements the game’s atmosphere.
One of the best things about Raft is the crafting system. You can gather resources from the ocean, such as wood, scrap metal, and plastic, and use them to craft tools, weapons, and equipment to help you survive. The game also features a cooking system, where you can cook fish and other sea creatures that you catch.
The game’s difficulty level is just right, providing enough challenge to keep you engaged but not too hard to make you frustrated. You have to balance your hunger and thirst levels, deal with shark attacks, and other hazards to stay alive.
The game also has a multiplayer mode, allowing you to play with friends and explore the ocean together. This adds an extra layer of fun to the game, as you can share resources and work together to build an even better raft.
Overall, Raft is an excellent survival game that is well worth playing. It’s challenging, fun, and addictive, with stunning graphics and an engaging gameplay loop that will keep you hooked for hours on end. If you’re a fan of survival games or just looking for a new adventure, Raft is definitely worth checking out.
