This game is in early access and I have very limited playtime, the information below is per the developer/steam page or whatever else is available.

Keepup Survival was developed on Unreal Engine 4 and transitioned to Unreal Engine 5

Survival Elements
You will need to manage, food, water, and temperature. If either food or water reach 0 you start to take health damage.
Base Building
This game has custom base building
Crafting
You can craft everything from weapons to bases, clothes, tools, and several workbenches.
Looting
You will be looting lots of containers to gain resources early.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
This game is unique in that you can have a zombie or non-zombie experience. In non-zombie your main threat is animals, in Zombie mode you have both. This is activated with a check box when starting a game.
Characters and Leveling
You select from a male or female character with no customization. You will get different clothes which will change the looks of your character.
Creature Taming and Mounts
The game does have mounts.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
The game has seasons, I did not make it to winter, but temperature is monitored and I expect it to be a major factor in the winter season.
Game Modes
There are many modes, it is a server based system even in single player so, many items are adjustable.
Map
Currently there are actually 4 maps, Red Desert, Tropical Island, Mountian and Lost Island.
Over Gameplay Difficulty
The game is not super difficult, but it is not that hard to die from lack of food and water in the beginning.
Game Summary
Keepup Survival, is a entry level survival game, There is plenty to do with lots of content and lots of things to build and craft. Once you figure out food and water the game should remain very easy. The animal and zombie ai and animations could use significant improvement, and would really elevate the game.
