Game Engine
Survival Elements
The current survival elements are on the lighter side, You need food to heal, as well as if you don’t eat your max health and stamina will decline. You do not need water/drink. I Did not experience any hot/cold character issues either but they come into play in other biomes.
Base Building
Base building is very challenging, The building system is very robust probably one of the easiest to use, but you must build a base that the zombies won’t destroy during the nightly attacks. There are tons of traps and they are hella fun!
Crafting
There is crafting for your crafting, You can craft and upgrade almost everything.
Looting
Looting comes in your typical zombies rule the world fashion. Vehicles, and containers along with gathering of materials.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
The name of the game gives it away, Your gonna be fighting the big Z’s in this one.
Characters and Leveling
The character system is quite different, you can customize your character pretty well, and then there is a trait system during character creation, to specialize how you want to play. They are not premade you get to pick the skills you want, including weakness and strength. When you play your character levels and you can select stats to put points in, which increase skills.
Creature Taming and Mounts
There is no taming, but there are several vehicles.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
The game has weather, I am unsure how it will effect gameplay, Remember this game is still under development.

Peaceful, Easy, Normal, Hard, Survival, Challenge, Legend, and Custom.

Night of the Dead uses a handcrafted map.

The game is on the difficult side, expect to play on easy mode on your first play through just to get the hang of things.
