Game Engine
Survival Elements
Mist has similar mechanics to other games, you will need to maintain food and drink. Before you are fully out of food or water, they start effecting your character. After they completely run out you will take health damage.
The game also has injuries and statuses that effect your character and gameplay.
Base Building
Mist allows you to create a freeform base and you can select a base from some of the prebuilt buildings.
Crafting
You will need to do plenty of crafting to survive in the world of Mist. Some crafting can be done in your inventory while most crafting requires a related bench. Crafting also takes in game time, which alters gameplay and the decisions you make. (Pretty well done IMO).
Looting
You will be looting containers, items on the ground, and gathering materials with tools.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
Sorry, you anti-zombie types. These creatures may not be zombies technically they are close enough to probably turn you away.
There are also animals and Bandit AI.
Mist also has an event where mist rolls in allowing zombies to attack the players base.
Characters and Leveling
Mist Survival lets you create both Male and Female Characters.
Creature Taming and Mounts
Mist has taming for pets, and vehicles for mounts. You can also rescue survivors that will work in your base.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
Mist, as the name implies, rolls in effecting the gameplay. Zombies avoid the sunlight but the mist blocks out the sun allowing the zombies to roam around.

Mist Survival does not currently have any game modes.

Mist is not overly difficult, it has several aspects of survival to keep up with, but none are overly punishing.
Game Summary
Mist Survival is a post-apocalyptic, open-world survival game set in a world shrouded by a mysterious and deadly mist. The game is developed and published by Rati Wattanakornprasit and was released in 2018.
In the game, you play as a survivor who must navigate through the misty landscape, scavenge for resources, build and fortify your base, craft weapons, and fend off dangerous creatures and other survivors. You must also manage your hunger, thirst, and fatigue while avoiding exposure to the deadly mist and other hazards.
The game features a day and night cycle, realistic weather patterns, and a dynamic AI system that adapts to your actions. The mist is not the only threat, as you will encounter various hostile creatures and other players who may try to raid your base and steal your supplies.
