Survival Elements
The most notable survival element is the need to eat, once your food meter runs out you will die very quickly.
Base Building
Len’s Island has custom base building, It feels well done, and seems to have a decent number of pieces to create a unique base.
Crafting
The game has crafting, along with upgrading, and also vendor purchasing. You won’t be making custom weapons as of this version.
Looting
Most of the loot comes in the form of materials, there are items to loot as well, but they are few and far between which makes them feel more special.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
There are no Zombies in Len’s world. There are unique fantasy style creatures and normal everyday animals.
Characters and Leveling
There is a very light character creator with just a few options including male or female.
Creature Taming and Mounts
There are pets, but you just click on them to tame, so there is no real taming system.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
Currently the weather has a very minor impact on gameplay.
Game Modes
Relaxed and normal with a hard mode in the works.

The game has map-able keyboard controls.

Lens Island featured a handcrafted map.

Currently I have about 5 hours in.
Over Gameplay Difficulty
Len’s island is not difficult to play, the controls are simple and straight forward, the combat is challenging just the same. I also must admit, I was not expecting much from this game, however it is much more fun than I was expecting.
