HumanitZ is being developed by a small team.
Survival Elements
The current known survival elements are Food, Water, and temperature. There is also a gas mask, which may already have a use, but I did not encounter it. I have yet to make it very far.
Base Building
The game does feature custom base building, You can also take over buildings, but currently you cannot remove any in game furniture items, except in houses with a fireplace (currently in testing).
Crafting
You can craft a very large variety of items. weapons, tools, benches, buildings etc.
Looting
What would a zombie looter/shooter be without loot? Yep loot everything you find, just don’t expect to be able to carry it all back home.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
3 Guesses and your first 2 don’t count. Z’s of course, but there is also bandit AI and they are pretty upset with the world, and not the hey let’s be neighbors types.
Characters and Leveling
There is a leveling system, which really makes you think about how to develop your character.
Creature Taming and Mounts
There is no current taming or mount system, but there is a vehicle system which has it’s own repair system.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
Other than winter being a force to contend with, it is unknown how much effect other weather has on the game.
Game Modes
The game has several modes, Normal, Multiplayer and “scenarios” which offers challenges to complete.
Controls
HumanitZ has remap-able controls, except for the camera movement.

The game features a hand crafted map.
Hours
I currently have 5 hours in the game, This game offers many many hours of playtime. It is in an excellent state as is. I will be playing more of this one for sure.
Over Gameplay Difficulty
The gameplay is not difficult to learn, It is pretty standard, you can and will die fairly easy in the beginning as it should be.

- Defend against truly menacing zombies! Not all zeeks are slow and stupid. Adapt and improvise against numerous zeek variants or you’ll risk becoming zombie fodder. Looking for an even greater challenge? Try your hand at Permadeath Mode…if you dare.
- Defy death! The apocalypse claims everyone, eventually. If not through a zombie’s maw, then through hunger, exposure, treacherous terrain, or other people. How long will you last?
