I Love survival games, I really enjoy games like Green Hell. If you enjoy games similar to Green Hell, then check out the following page. I list all the gameplay elements of Green Hell and at the bottom of the page is a list of survival games with similar gameplay elements.
Green Hell was released on 09/05/2019 and continues to receive regular updates. Last update 12/06/2023
Green Hell was created with the Unity Engine. The game is single player with online co-op. This uses a peer to peer system with no hosting options for a separate machine.
Green Hell, one of the few titles that tells you EXACTLY what you are in for.
Food, eat or die, eat the wrong thing and you might die anyway.
Water, drink or die, make sure you purify it first.
Heat will not kill you outright but could lead to your death
Cold, much like heat
Status, Green Hell has many statuses from dirt to venom wounds, and you will need to learn to cure them all.
Green Hell is a little different in the approach, generally speaking no single item will kill you, however any given status can quickly lead to more status and more problems which will lead to a quick death. I have been killed by a lack of sleep more times than I care to admit.
Green Hell has nice base building options with multiple materials even in the jungle, the last patch added even more cool building items like doors and treehouses. Me Tarzan You Jane.
Green Hell has a good amount of items to craft. There is not an overwhelming list to look at but when you think about your setting do you really have enough pocket lint to make a couch? You constantly feel the need to be making items to improve your ability to live.
Loot comes from killing and harvesting flora and fauna, along with certain items that can be broken into materials. In story mode there are some containers to loot but in survival mode there isn’t so many, as most items found in the ground or on open shelving.
Animals and insects naturally found in the wild along with tribal people who seem to be fairly hungry or maybe just angry.
Green Hell only has first person mode and no option to make a female character, which really doesn’t matter as you know your playing a male character when something goes wrong. (you will see).
Green Hell recently introduced creature taming and animal husbandry, but currently doesn’t sport mounts.
The weather does effect gameplay, although generally speaking it won’t kill you out right, you will notice a change.
Story, Survival (endless map), 2nd Story mode (Spirits of Amazonia), Tourist (creative) and Challenge, which is a series of timed challenges.
Then once one of those are selected you select the difficulty of the mode, Walk in the Park, Welcome to the Jungle, King of the Jungle, Green Hell
There is also custom, and Tourist mode which is equilavent to creative mode.
Green Hell
Spirits of Amazonia
Green Hell can be well, a green hell. I would rate this as difficult as you will die many times trying to learn how to adapt to your environment.
Green Hell has open-world gameplay, and players are left to find their way around the jungle. The game is designed to challenge players’ survival skills by making it difficult to survive in the jungle. Players confront a variety of environmental hazards like unpredictable weather changes, venomous snakes, and wild animals that pose a real threat to their lives. Users appreciate the realistic portrayal of the environment and the difficulty in trying to make it out of the wilderness alive.
Green Hell has realistic graphics, making the jungle environment eerily immersive. The sky, water, and tree textures are visually stunning, and the lush vegetation makes the game feel like an adventure. This survival game’s detail is well appreciated and draws players into the game.
Green Hell does have a storyline, In addition the Spirits of Amazonia adds additional story content and its survival plot drives its gameplay. Players struggle to survive the treacherous wilderness of the Amazon Rainforest, and that’s it. The game is intense, and anyone who enjoys survival games is sure to like that aspect of the game.
In general, Green Hell is a unique and impressively challenging survival game that gamers find entertaining. The game has its flaws, but its strengths outweigh them. If you’re someone who enjoys intense survival games, Green Hell is worth checking out for the experience of a jungle survival adventure.
