I Love survival games, I really enjoy games like Bellwright. If you enjoy games similar to Bellwright, then check out the following page. I list all the gameplay elements of Bellwright and at the bottom of the page is a list of survival games with similar gameplay elements.
This game is not yet in early access, I did get to play it briefly during a demo period. the information below is per the developer/steam page or whatever else is available.
This game is being developed by Donkey Crew Games, The same ones who worked on Last Oasis.
In the very “prerelease” demo, Food and water were the biggest challenges.
There is base building, more along the lines of city building, In my limited playtime this comes across as a similar feel to Medieval Dynasty.
There will be endless crafting, The current gameplay indicates your people will be able to craft, construct, and gather as well.
YEAA BUDDY, Grab them spoils. You will be looting slain enemies, camps and gathering to your axes content.
Combat will be with human enemies and animals, no Zombies to be found.
The character creation was mostly preselected characters. The leveling system appears to be very deep, even your followers have a deep skill tree.
Not real sure at this time.
Again – not sure,
No alternate modes at this stage of development.
The map is a hand crafted map.
Too early to tell at this time, Combat was not easy at first, but again these things get altered many times during a normal development cycle.
The game demo was fun and interesting, This game has real promise. I am a little concerned about the combat, it feels like they are reusing the Last Oasis style blocking which I absolutely hate, but that is more a personal choice than anything else.
