The Front is being developed by Samar Studios, which is a small team of developers.
Survival Elements
The game has food/water hot and cold. There maybe other elements further into the game.
Base Building
The Front features custom base building, with upgradeable materials along with traps for a tower defense feel.
Crafting
Almost everything will need to be crafted. You will loot items as well, but tools, clothes, weapons, and even vehicles have to be crafted.
Looting
You will need to gather/harvest as well as loot items.
Combat, Main Enemy Types
There is enemy NPC AI, but no zombies.
Characters and Leveling
You have leveling, and along with it you will collect shards and talent books. Shards are required to learn new blueprint which are also level locked. Talent books are used to learn skills.
Creature Taming and Mounts
There are mounts in the form of vehicles.
Weather Impacts on Gameplay
Other than hot and cold it is unknown at this time if weather will have a real impact on gameplay.
Game Modes
This is a server based game so essentially there are no modes, however you will be able to adjust most items to your liking. Be sure the things you want to change are adjustable if this is a major concern.

The game has standard remappable controls along with invert Y

This is a custom hand crafted map.
Hours
I had about 10 hours into the game at the time of documenting its features. The game has gotten multiple patches already. I will continue to invest hours into this title.
Over Gameplay Difficulty
The game is not difficult to play but is challenging solo, It has a good feel of progression along with the feeling of wanting to upgrade, craft the next item.

Trek across deserts, forests, snowlands, swamps, and more to find unexplored and treacherous areas such as underground research institutes and restricted military bases. Along your way, you will loot structures, collect blueprints, and claim airdrops, all in the name of making yourself a force to be reckoned with.
